Resident in Counseling
Taylor Crawford Hedrick, M.A.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University, and have experience providing therapy in community mental health, school-based settings, and outpatient counseling. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work alongside adolescents and young adults navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.

My approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from Interpersonal Process Psychotherapy (IPP), attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and somatic-based interventions. Together, we will explore how past experiences, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and the body’s responses influence your current struggles while building practical skills to foster resilience and lasting growth.

I have a particular passion for working with teens and young adults experiencing life transitions, substance use concerns, identity development, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship challenges. Whether you’re adjusting to a new stage of life, feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, or working towards self growth, I strive to provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where you can develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the life you want to create.

I believe every person has inherent strengths, even during life’s most difficult seasons. My role is not to tell you who to become, but to walk alongside you as you discover your own capacity for healing, connection, and meaningful change.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and exploring new places. I value genuine relationships, lifelong learning, and finding moments of joy in everyday life.
